Philanthropies

Members of Sigma Delta Tau (SDT) raise funds, sponsor educational awareness programs and organize community service projects in support of three national philanthropic partners: Jewish Women International, Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and Sigma Delta Tau Foundation. PCAA has been our philanthropic partner since 1982. SDT chapters raise more than $400,000 annually because every child deserves a happy childhood. Chapter members fundraise and participate in collaborative programming with Jewish Women International, including the Safe Smart Dating program, InveSDT financial literacy program, National Library Initiative and Mother’s Day Flower Project. The Sigma Delta Tau Foundation is dedicated to impacting the growth of our sisters, inspiring a culture of generosity and perpetuating the legacy of SDT from generation to generation. Chapters give in support of our sisterhood, expanding scholarship opportunities and essential funding of Sigma Delta Tau educational programs.
