VP Event Planning

Expectations

  • Serve as the leader of the Event Planning Team and facilitate team meetings
  • Oversee the entire events calendar
  • Assist team in all event planning
  • Plan all chapter date night functions
  • Ensure Risk Management policies are being followed at chapter-sponsored events
  • Implement a Check-In/Check-Out System at Events
  • Attend weekly Officer Board Meetings
  • Attend monthly EC Meetings

Skills and Qualities

  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and being organized, creative, and adaptable
  • Experience in event planning and thinking about the best ways to engage different audiences.
  • Experience adhering to a budget
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at any given time and discernment to know when to delegate tasks
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills

Requirements

  • Office Hours at the House: 5 hours per week
